Club HistoryThe Club Started back in the summer of 2001, with lots of kids showing an interest playing in the warm weather at Cromer High School playing field. Interest soon waned when the venue changed to Bodham Sports Field and the colder weather started to move in. At this time there was just 7 regular players. In Spring 2002 the venue changed again to Sheringham Community Centre, where several of the parents used to play themselves as boys. The 2002 - 2003 season saw the clubs first season playing in the NENYL (North East Norfolk Youth League), where both an ‘A Team’ & a ‘B Team’ had to be entered, due to the amount of interest. The 2003 - 2004 Season looked even more promising with an ‘A Team’ & a ‘B Team’ being entered into the ‘Under 9’s’ and one team being entered into the ‘Under 8’s’ In the 2004 - 2005 season, we entered an ‘A Team’ & a ‘B Team’ into the ‘Under 10’s’ With one team being entered into the ‘Under 9’s’. We are also entering two new teams an ‘A Team’ & a ‘B Team’ into the ‘Under 8’s’. During this season we started using Sheringham CP School as our Home Ground. This allowed us to hold "Home Matches" for the U10's & Under 9's. In June 2004, East Coast Warriors opened it's own Web shop. This helps the club generate much needed funds, to allow the club to grow & encourage more young players to join. The 2005 - 2006 season the club sent several of it's Team Coaches on there FA Level 1 Coaching Course, where they all passed. In the 2006 - 2007 Season the club moved to Gresham where it had managed to obtain a home ground. Here we now have a full size pitch for the 11 a side football we have now started to play, plus a mini-soccer pitch ad a training area. We now have our own club house with home & away changing rooms. This season we ventured abroad to Hamburg in Germany for our first overseas tournament with the under 11's team. The club has now grown in popularity from the original 7 regulars to approx. 105 girls & boys ranging from 5 - 12 years old regularly turning up for training each week. Contact Information
